These are matching moose “paddles” from a Bull Moose found in Western Saskatchewan, Canada. One paddle (the Moose's right-side) shows weathering and staining on the front side but still very dark, fresh coloration on the back. And overall both antlers are in good-decent condition, especially on the back. Both paddles do have some chew damage, a common occurrence on moose antlers - caused by animals such as squirrels, porcupines, or moose themselves choosing to chew on the antler for nutrients! The moose's left side has less chew damage and fading and incredible color and patina, because it was found very fresh. It stands on its own and has incredible character and color throughout.
Antlers make the perfect conversation piece or coffee table centrepiece and very usable for arts and crafts or would also make a good toy/chew for a large dog. Excellent for terrariums, pet enclosures and Christmas decorations too!!!
