It is normal for antlers to have grooves, scratches and some chew marks but these antlers show VERY HIGH amounts of discolouration, cracking, chalkiness, chew damage and broken points/tips.
Deer commonly nibble their antlers immediately after they shed them and coyotes, porcupines and squirrels often gnaw on them and pick them up and carry them a ways before dropping them in a new location.
