This is a classic White-tailed deer antler. It is from a very typical, mature white-tailed deer! It has 5 great points. At the time it was found in 2024, the antler was 1 year old (on the ground) and has considerable chew damage.
As a result, it comes with some weathering that turns the antler bright white. It also has considerable chew damage from wild animals like porcupines, a unfortunate but very common condition for antlers. However, this gives it a unique and rustic look for any decor or display!
Found in western Saskatchewan in the spring of 2024.
Antlers make a wonderful conversation piece or coffee table centrepiece, and are very usable for arts and crafts or would also make a good toy/chew for a large dog. Excellent for terrariums, pet enclosures and Christmas decorations.
