This is a 100% wild and "brown" mule deer antler from central Canada.
The Antler still displays this super rich, deep color as it is 100% natural and was very quickly picked up from the wild. To find an antler in such undamaged and unweathered condition is very unique and uncommon.
Fresh antlers are commonly chewed by wild dogs like coyotes and other animals like porcupines and squirrels for their nutrients and dental benefits, however, this antler has incurred no chew damage from its time on the ground. The sun also naturally bleaches the antlers to a white color over time.
These antlers naturally fall off, or are knocked off by the deer himself every winter after the breeding season is over. No harm was caused to any animal when collecting these from the wilderness.
Antlers make perfect conversation pieces or coffee table centrepieces and are very usable for arts and crafts.
