This is a 100% wild and "brown" mule deer antler from central Canada.
The Antler still displays this super rich, deep color as it is 100% natural and was very quickly picked up from the wild. To find an antler in unweathered condition is very unique and uncommon. The antler does have some small chew marks on the tips from wild animals like porcupines and squirrels which feed on them for nutritional and dental benefits.
These antlers naturally fall off, or are knocked off by the deer himself every winter after the breeding season is over. No harm was caused to any animal when collecting these from the wilderness.
Antlers make perfect conversation pieces or coffee table centrepieces and are very usable for arts and crafts.
